During the past year, dramatic changes in domestic and international adoption have complicated a process that is as emotionally demanding as it is legally complex. Broad reforms in adoptions from other countries, combined with policy-level controversies surrounding domestic adoptions, require consumers of adoption services to be more savvy than ever in their efforts to build their families. Yet it's difficult for would-be adoptive parents to find reliable, unbiased information to make informed decisions about what's best for them.
Working independently from the special interests of any adoption agency or attorney, I provide honest information and unbiased guidance. I'll help you decide if adoption is right for you. If it is, I'll save you time, money, and unnecessary heartache by creating a personalized plan to achieve your parenting goals.
Fees and Options for Personalized Consulting
$550 for over 3 hours of personal consulting, plus a written adoption plan
For a tiny fraction of what most people spend to adopt a child, you'll save yourself money and heartache by addressing all your questions and concerns before you begin your process. You'll walk away with your step-by-step plan for building your family by adoption.
We'll first schedule a two-hour meeting (by phone or in person) to identify your highest priorities for building your family, and to answer your most urgent questions about adoption. I'll follow up on that meeting with any additional questions I may have to facilitate our planning process.
We'll meet again (by phone or in person) for 90 minutes to discuss the path best suited for you, and to review my proposed adoption plan.

Your customized plan will recommend a step-by-step process, and includes the international or domestic adoption option that best meets your goals, any risk factors relevant to you, the range of expected costs, financing options, and likely timeline, along with the adoption service providers best matching your needs and other resources that might be helpful for your situation.
PERSONAL CONSULTING
$150 per hour
I'm available by appointment on an hourly basis to new and continuing clients.
I require a minimum of two hours of consulting time with new clients, so that I fully understand your family building goals, and help you sort through the complexities of the adoption options.
Continuing clients who have taken advantage of my classes or consulting services may return to address any challenges encountered during the adoption process, difficult decisions or issues that come up along the way.
